The minimum wages Act 1948 is an Act of parliament concerning Indian Labour Law that sets the minimum wages that must be paid to skilled and unskilled labours. The Dearness allowance is a calculation on inflation and allowance paid to government employees, public sector employees (PSE) and pensioners in India.
DA is a calculated as a percentage of an India citizen’s basic salary to mitigate the impact of inflation on people. Indian citizens may recieve a basic salary or pension that is then supplemented by a housing or a D.A , or both.
